After a life time of hard work pottery has become my retirement passion. Over the past few years, I have taken countless classes and spent hours alone playing and creating in my home studio. I love the movement of clay when I am throwing, how it feels alive under my hands, shifting with the slightest pressure moving into beautiful forms. I love creating interesting color combinations with glazes to create the vibrant pieces seen throughout this site.

Each piece is made from the heart in my North Carolina home studio, where I do indeed, work barefoot!
